The terms, in plain English.

1. Who you're dealing with

This website is operated by legal entity name, registered at full registered address with pincode. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "Jaggu" mean that entity, and "you" means the person using the site or placing an order.

Our FSSAI licence number is FSSAI licence number and our GSTIN is GSTIN, or delete this line if unregistered.

2. Placing an order

Adding items to your cart and paying is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. The contract forms when we dispatch the order and send you the tracking details.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — if an item turns out to be unavailable, if we've made a pricing error, if the delivery address isn't serviceable, or if we have reasonable grounds to think the order isn't genuine. If we do, we refund you in full. We won't hold your money against an order we've decided not to fulfil.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include confirm: are listed prices inclusive of GST?. Shipping is added at checkout as set out in the shipping policy.

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or netbanking credentials — those go straight to the payment gateway. Your order is confirmed once Razorpay confirms the payment to us.

We can change prices at any time, but never on an order you've already paid for.

4. Build Your Own Box

The Build Your Own Box discount is 10% off the packs you place in that box, and applies only once the box contains at least three packs. It doesn't apply to anything else in your cart, it doesn't stack with the fixed bundles or with any other offer, and the discounted total shown at checkout is the one that's charged.

5. Products, photographs and natural variation

Our product photographs and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them, but they're illustrative. Unrefined jaggery varies in colour, hardness and crystal size between batches because the cane varies with the field, the season and the day it was cut. That variation is inherent to the product and isn't a defect.

Weights are nominal and subject to normal filling tolerances.

6. Allergens and dietary information

Some of our products contain peanuts and tree nuts — Jaggery Chikki and Jaggery Dry Fruit Trail Mix in particular — and all our products are made in facilities that handle nuts. If you have a nut allergy, please read the pack and take your own view before eating.

Nothing on this website is medical or nutritional advice. Jaggery is a sugar. If you're managing diabetes or any other condition, talk to a doctor rather than to us.

7. Cancellation, replacement and refunds

8. Your account and conduct

You agree to give accurate delivery and contact details, and not to use this site to place fraudulent orders, to interfere with how it works, or to scrape or copy its content for commercial use.

9. Our content

The text, photographs, illustrations, the Jaggu name and the mascot are ours. You're welcome to share and link to them. You may not reproduce them commercially or pass them off as your own without our written permission.

10. Liability

We stand behind our products and will always put right an order we've got wrong. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Things outside our control

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control — courier disruption, weather, strikes, or restrictions imposed by an authority. Where such an event stops us fulfilling an order, we'll tell you and refund you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
